Vale was surrounded with fur, he had never felt more safe in life before.
He let himself indulge in the warmth and tranquillity of the beast.
Zimbra may be strong, but she knew how to be gentle, that's for sure.
His nerves begun to settle, along with his pulse. Every second was worth saving.

"...use my name.."

His body went mildly limp from the comfort.

Zimbra begins to pat his head

"Don't worry Llanto... everything will be fine"

She does not release her grip for minutes

"Thank you"

As Vale returns to his senses, the impressions made by his parents begin to re-establish and he loosens his grip.

Vale then pushes away Zimbra suddenly, as far as his small muscles could muster.

"I uh.. i..i'm.. mmh.."

Vale shakes his head side to side and looks back up to Zimbra.

"I.. have no idea what came over me..."
"apologies."

He's silent for a moment.

"Let's just... go back to exercising."
He looks away with pure embarrassment, into the ground.
"this... none of this just happened.. ok?"

The kilrathi grabs her dumbbells and continues her workout

"It's not bad to be emotional yknow... forgetting won't change anything"

She turns back to the Varni with a smile

"But if you are willing to do more exercises I'd more than happy to help"
